Im Kurs "Vokale Improvisation für Einsteiger:innen” werden Grundlagen der Vokalimprovisation vermittelt. Zunächst lernen die Studierenden über ein Repertoire an Loop Songs die ersten Zeichen des Vocal Painting kennen. Im Verlauf des Semesters werden sich die Studierenden mit verschiedenen Übungen, Spielen und Konzepten von Vokalimprovisation auseinandersetzen. Ziel ist es, eine Improvisation vorzubereiten, zu strukturieren, um sich während des Musizierens sicher und frei zu fühlen. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Verbindung zur eigenen Musikalität und deren Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten.
Wer also Berührungsängste mit Improvisation hat, oder sich noch weiterbilden möchte, bekommt hier das richtige Handwerkszeug, um einen eigenen Zugang zu finden.
Vocal Painting (VOPA) ist eine Gebärdensprache, mit der improvisierte Chormusik umgesetzt wird. Musikalisches Vorbild ist die Praxis des Circle Singings. Angelehnt an Sound Painting, entwickelte Prof. Jim Daus Hjernøe aus Dänemark VOPA für interaktive vokale Improvisation & Probenarbeit. Derzeit gibt es etwa 75 offizielle VOPA Zeichen, deren Kanon aktuell um weitere Zeichen erweitert wird.
