230553 Augustinus, Frühdialoge, Confessiones und De civitate Dei (S) (SoSe 2025)

Contents, comment

Im Zentrum des Seminars steht die Auseinandersetzung mit den sog. Cassiciacum-Dialogen Augustins (Contra Academicos, De beata vita, De ordine und Soliloquia, De immortalitate animae). Wir werden den Schwerpunkt auf die Soliloquia legen, aus denen wir längere Ausschnitte lesen und eingehend interpretieren werden. Besonderes Gewicht wird die Frage nach der Wahl der Dialogform zukommen. Die anderen Dialoge werden wir gruppenweise aufteilen und im Rahmen dieser Kleingruppen überblicksartig behandeln.
