Kommentar:
Eng verknüpft mit dem Seminar „Herrschaftsstrukturen im Nationalsozialismus“ (220120) und der notwendigen Kontextualisierung beschäftigt sich diese Lehrveranstaltung konkret mit dem Themenfeld „Täter und Akteure im NS-Regime“. Dabei wird nicht nur der Versuch unternommen, anhand ausgewählter Fallstudien konkrete Akteure schärfer ins Bild zu setzen, vielmehr geht es auch darum, die Komplexität des NS-Systems zu verdeutlichen. Mit dieser Intention werden die ideologischen Entwicklungen und Funktionen zentraler NS-Personen nachgezeichnet. Vor allem sollen hierbei bislang weniger bekannte Täter – etwa SS-Obergruppenführer Werner Best, RSHA-Leiter Ernst Kaltenbrunner, die Chefs der Gestapo Rudolf Diels und Heinrich Müller oder der Generalgouverneur in Polen Reichsminister Hans Frank – im Mittelpunkt stehen.
