In diesem Seminar erhalten die Studierenden eine umfassende Einführung in das - vor allem schulpraktische - Gitarrenspiel. Somit steht das Begleiten von Liedern mit Akkorden und verschiedenen Schlag- und Zupftechniken im Vordergrund. Des Weiteren lernen die Studierenden das Spielen einfacher Melodien.
Die Liedauswahl orientiert sich am Studiengang, aber auch moderne Lieder aus der Popularmusik werden gespielt.
Das Seminar richtet sich an alle Studierenden ohne oder mit nur wenigen Erfahrungen mit diesem Instrument; eine Gitarre muss mitgebracht werden.
Es wird vorausgesetzt, dass die Teilnehmer das Gelernte zu Hause vertiefen, da sonst eine Kompetenzerweiterung nicht möglich ist.
Bei der Auswahl der Teilnehmer, die in der ersten Sitzung stattfindet, werden Studierende der Musik/Kunst bevorzugt.
