Das Seminar setzt sich mit Diskriminierungserfahrungen und der Lebenssituation von LGBTQI* (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer und inter)-Menschen auseinander. Es wird zunächst eine inhaltliche Einführung in das Thema gegeben wobei unterschiedliche Bereiche (z.B. Diskriminierung im Arbeitsleben, Regenbogenfamilien, Partnerschaften, Gesundheit) behandelt werden. Zusätzlich wird die empirische Erhebung von sexueller Orientierung, Geschlecht und Diskriminierungserfahrungen thematisiert. Den Hauptteil des Seminars bildet anschließend die praktische Anwendung von unterschiedlichen Analyseverfahren (z.B. lineare Regression, logistische Regression) zur Untersuchung von Diskriminierungserfahrungen und der Lebenssituation von LGBTQI*-Menschen. Gearbeitet wird mit den Daten eines Online Surveys (LGBielefeld) aus dem Jahr 2019.

Das Seminar wird als Online-Veranstaltung via Zoom stattfinden.

Requirements for participation, required level

Grundlegende Kenntnisse im Bereich der multivariaten Statistik sowie im Umgang mit der Statistiksoftware Stata werden vorausgesetzt.
