Ein Vertiefungskurs bildet inhaltlich eine Einheit, entspricht im Umfang einem Projektseminar mit 90 Stunden Kontaktzeit (das entspricht 6 SWS). Zusammen mit dem Selbststudiumsanteil umfasst der Vertiefungskurs 7 LP. Die Varianten spiegeln die Möglichkeiten wider, einen Vertiefungskurs aus verschiedenen Veranstaltungen zusammenzusetzen.
