In diesem Seminar werden verschiedene Formen abweichenden Verhaltens betrachtet. Dabei steht die Frage im Mittelpunkt, inwiefern die soziale Lage und das Auftreten von Abweichung (Kriminalität, Krankheit) miteinander zusammen hängen. Die TeilnehmerInnen des Kurses werden hier die Möglichkeit erhalten, eigene thematische Interessenschwerpunkte zu setzen. In einem ersten Schritt werden die jeweiligen Formen von Abweichung im Hinblick auf ihre Prävalenz und Inzidenz beschrieben. Ein zweiter Teil des Seminars widmet sich theoretischen Überlegungen und der Übertragung dieser Ideen auf die Analyse verschiedener Formen von Abweichung. Ein dritter Teil des Kurses bezieht sich auf Fragen der Problemintervention und der Evaluation sozialer Interventionsprogramme ausgehend von den zuvor entwickelten theoretischen Überlegungen.
