392266 ISY Project: Computer Vision Tracking For High-Performance Sports (Pj) (SoSe 2017)

Contents, comment

- Short Description
Team sports statistics is a crucial part in today's high performance sports. It enables the coach to evaluate the players' performance and make decisions (e.g. replacements) in order to enhance their team's performance. The BiVision system, composed of BiVision Backend (Recording), BiVision Tracking (Multi-Object Tracking) and BiVision ReportGenerator was developed in the Cognitronics and Sensor System Group. The goal within the BiVision project is to provide an ultra-efficient and low-cost sports analyzing system for indoor sports. Therefore, in a first step, a real-time tracking in post-processing should be achieved with state-of-the-art vision algorithms, which should be implemented with the vision framework openCV and C++. Furthermore, system enhancements on the BiVision Backend and the ReportGenerator are possible. The newly designed vision system will then be implemented in the university sports hall.
