261021 Kluge Roboter und moralische Maschinen (S) (SoSe 2017)

Roboter stehen schon längst nicht mehr nur in industriellen Fertigungshallen und künstliche Intelligenzen sind nicht mehr nur Protagonisten in Science-Fiction-Filme. Zunehmend erobern künstliche Intelligenzen neue Einsatzbereiche und halten damit Einzug in unseren Alltag. Doch welche Folgen hat diese Entwicklung? Wollen und dürfen wir bestimmte Aufgaben, wie etwa die Pflege von bedürftigen Menschen oder das Töten von Soldaten, an autonome Systeme abgeben? Das relativ junge Feld der Maschinen- oder Roboterethik befasst sich damit, welche ethischen Implikationen der Einsatz von künstlichen Intelligenzen in den unterschiedlichen Anwendungsfeldern hat. Im Seminar werden wir dieses Feld systematisch erschließen. Dabei werden auch die Fragen in den Vordergrund rücken, ob künstliche Intelligenzen selbst moralische Akteure sein können und ob Moral programmierbar ist.
