This class addresses future teachers at Sekundarschule (Haupt-/Realschule), Gymnasium, Gesamtschule and Berufsschule. We will address the question of diversity, in line with other classes at the Institute, though from an educational as well as didactic viewpoint. Thus, our schedule is divided into theoretical matters focusing on questions of cultural diversity (mainly linguistic, ethnic and religious diversity) as a relevant topic originating in cultural studies, before we turn to more practical issues as selecting adequate material for diverse learner groups. A schedule, with a selected reading list and syllabus, will e available in the Lernraum after Easter.
