Der demografische Wandel fordert Unternehmen massiv. Tiefgreifende Entwicklungs- und Veränderungsprozesse müssen mit alternden Belegschaften gemeistert werden. Zugleich werden kompetente, motivierte und leistungsfähige Mitarbeiter zunehmend zum entscheidenden Wettbewerbsfaktor. Insbesondere um die spezifischen Potenziale älterer Mitarbeiter zu erschließen und für die Unternehmen nutzbar zu machen, wird eine alter(n)s-sensible Weiterbildung und Personalentwicklung deshalb immer wichtiger.
Welche Forschungsergebnisse liegen zur Lern- und Leistungssituation älterer Mitarbeiter vor? Welche Anforderungen sind daraus an Personalentwicklungskonzepte für ältere Mitarbeiter abzuleiten? Welche Konzepte und Modelle werden bereits angewendet, welche ersten Erfahrungen und Evaluationsergebnisse liegen dazu vor? Diesen Fragen wird im Seminar zunächst überwiegend theoretisch nachgegangen.
Die Veranstaltung wird im SS 2009 weitergeführt. Dann wird der Schwerpunkt in der betrieblichen Praxis und eigener Praxisforschung liegen.
