In dem Seminar soll das Buch "The Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory" von Howard Eichenbaum (2012) durchgearbeitet werden - Eichenbaum gilt als einer der einflussreichsten Gedächtnis-Forscher dieser Tage. Der Plan sieht vor, dass ein oder zwei Studierende pro Sitzung ein Kapitel des Buches vorstellen, diskutieren und durch aktuelle englischsprachige Literatur (1 - 2 Papes pro Sitzung) ergänzen. Eine sinnvolle Seminar-Teilnahme setzt die Lektüre aller Kapitel voraus.

Das Seminar richtet sich an B.Sc. Hauptfachstudierende, die das Anwendungsfach IV „Neurowissenschaften“ gewählt haben. Kenntnisse der wesentlichen Inhalte der Vorlesungen X.1 (Einführung in die Neuropsychologie) und X.2 (Einführung in die Neurokognitive Psychologie) werden vorausgesetzt.
