English language course for psychologists.
This course is aimed at helping students to achieve a faster and better understanding of the literature related to their subject and to express their ideas and opinions, not only on their subject, but also in social situations.
The main components of the course are:
1. Developing the skills needed for reading and understanding
the many different kinds of texts students come into contact with
in the course of their studies.
2. Summarizing and discussing texts.
3. Preparing and presenting short talks on a chosen subject.
4. Asking for and giving information, both professionally and socially.
5. Looking at language (grammar, vocabulary, phrases, etc.) where
necessary.
Requirements for participation, required level

Bereitschaft zur aktiven Mitarbeit und zur intensiven Vor- und Nachbereitung der Sitzungen, Anwesenheit (max. 2 Fehltage), mind. 6 Jahre Englischunterricht.
Anmeldezeitraum: 15. Sept. - 28. Sept. 2008.

Die Liste der TeilnehmerInnen und NachrückerInnen wird ab dem 10. Oktober vor Raum T5-204 aushängen sowie auf der Website http://wwwhomes.uni-bielefeld.de/arbtech/Ausland/ verfügbar sein.

Werden in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben. Die Literatur steht im Semesterapparat oder als Kopiervorlage zur Verfügung.
Es ist zu jeder Sitzung ein eigenes Wörterbuch mitzubringen!
