Sozialisation bezeichnet den lebenslangen Prozess der Vergesellschaftung und Individuation, durch den ein Mensch zu einem gesellschaftlich handlungsfähigen Subjekt wird. Sozialisationstheorien versuchen diesen Prozess zu erklären, wobei die spezifischen Fragestellungen ebenso unterschiedlich sind wie die jeweils gefundenen Antworten. Im Rahmen dieses Grundlagenseminars findet eine Auseinandersetzung mit ausgewählten klassischen Sozialisationstheorien am Beispiel der Schule statt. Die ernsthafte Auseinandersetzung mit dieser Thematik geht mit intensiver, teilweise umfangreicher und manchmal schwieriger Lektüre einher. Die Texte sollen zur Vorbereitung auf die Seminarsitzungen anhand von Arbeitsblättern bearbeitet werden. In den Seminarsitzungen werden die Texte diskutiert.
