Semantik ist das Studium von Bedeutung. In diesem Seminar wollen wir uns mit den grundlegenden
Begriffen der Semantik auseinandersetzen. Wesentlich befassen wir uns dabei mit Ontologie
(welcher Art Gegenstände existieren eigentlich bzw sind nötig, um den Begriffen Bedeutungen
zu gewähren?) und mit dem Begriff des Modells (welcher Art muss die Wirklichkeit sein, damit ein gegebener Satz wahr ist?). Schritt für Schritt werden dabei die Bedeutungen der Worten expliziert,
erst Nomina, dann Verba, Adjektive und so weiter. Dabei wird sich zeigen, wie das Instrumentarium
sich langsam verfeinert und immer mehr Mehrdeutigkeiten, Vagheiten und Bedeutungsabstufungen
in den Äußerungen sichtbar werden.
