In letzter Zeit ist immer wieder davon die Rede, dass die Privatsphäre der Menschen bedroht ist – durch Google und Facebook, staatliche Überwachungsmaßnahmen und Geheimdienste, private Drohnen und Webcams, Banken und Versicherungen. Doch was ist die Privatsphäre und welchen moralischen Wert hat sie? Das sind die Themen, mit denen wir uns in dem Seminar beschäftigen werden. Die Texte werden online zur Verfügung gestellt. Sie sind zu einem großen Teil auf Englisch, verlangen also eine gewisse Vertrautheit mit der Lektüre englischsprachiger Philosophie.

Teilnehmerbegrenzung:
An diesem Seminar können insgesamt maximal 10 Bachelor- und Master of Education-Studierende teilnehmen. Für alle Studierenden, die regulär im fachw. Master Philosophie eingeschrieben sind, gilt keine Teilnehmerbegrenzung.
Diese Veranstaltung ist konzipiert für Masterstudierende im Fach Philosophie. Bachelor-Studierende der Philosophie oder andere Studierende können nur teilnehmen, wenn sie das Anmeldeverfahren durchlaufen und eine Zusage des Dozierenden bekommen haben. Zur Anmeldung senden Sie der Veranstalterin/dem Veranstalter eine E-Mail mit Angabe Ihres Namens, des Fachsemesters in dem Sie sein werden und mit einer Begründung, warum Sie an diesem Seminar teilnehmen wollen. Sie erhalten rechtzeitig Bescheid, ob Sie an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen dürfen.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
Im Masterstudiengang erfolgt der Erwerb von Leistungspunkten ausschließlich auf Modulebene.
Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 2 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern für das Modulportfolio, auf dem die unbenotete Moduleinzelleistung beruht. Die Anforderungen für den Modulportfolio-Beitrag werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben. Als Modulabschluss kann eine Hausarbeit geschrieben werden. Achtung: Beachten Sie die Regelungen zur Anmeldung!
