250118 Diskriminierung und Bildung in der Migrationsgesellschaft (S) (WiSe 2016/2017)

Nicht nur empirische Befunde über bestehende ungleiche Zugänge zu Bildung sondern auch Forschungsergebnisse zu Diskriminierungserfahrungen im Bildungssystem provozieren die Frage, warum es zu Bildungsungleichheit und Diskriminierung kommt, welche Mechanismen dafür verantwortlich gemacht werden können und wie darauf reagiert werden kann. Im Seminar wird sich mit theoretischen Ansätzen befasst, die die verantwortlichen Mechanismen in Prozessen institutioneller Diskriminierung sehen. Dazu wird sich zunächst sowohl mit Ergebnissen zu Bildungsungleichheit und Diskriminierung im deutschen Bildungssystem befasst. Weiter wird insbesondere der Begriff Diskriminierung und der Anspruch der Teilhabegerechtigkeit beleuchtet. Vertiefend wird sodann der Ansatz institutioneller Diskriminierung erarbeitet. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden organisationale und pädagogische Konzepte betrachtet, die beanspruchen, zu mehr Teilhabegerechtigkeit im Bildungssystem bzw. zu einer diskriminierungskritischen Pädagogik beizutragen.
