Die Laborphonologie untersucht Fragestellungen zur Funktion von Lautstrukturen mit quantitativen korpuslinguistischen oder experimentellen Methoden. Wir werden im Kurs einige expemplarische laborphonologische Fragestellungen kennenlernen und verschiedene praktische Verfahren kennenlernen, mit denen diese näher untersucht werden können. Neben dem Kennenlernen und Vertiefen verschiedener phonetischer Analysetechniken (Akustische Messungen, EGG, Luftstromanalysen) werden generelle Fähigkeiten des experimentellen Arbeitens praktisch eingeübt.
