In dem zweisemestrigen Seminar können 8 Leistungspunkte erworben werden. Die Voraussetzung hierfür ist eine regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme an der Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation der in diesem zweisemestrigen Seminar durchzuführenden empirischen Studie. Diese hat eine entwicklungspsychologische Fragestellung zum Thema.
Im ersten Teil der Veranstaltung wurde bereits ein Teil der folgenden Aufgaben bearbeitet: Einarbeitung in die relevante theoretische und empirische Literatur, Planung der Erhebung, Durchführung der Erhebung.
Im zweiten Teil der Veranstaltung widmen sich die Studierenden in dieser Veranstung schwerpunktmäßig den folgenden Aufgaben: Eingabe der Daten, Auswertung und Interpretation der Ergebnisse, Dokumentation der Studie in Form eines Berichtes und eines Posters für die seminarübergreifende Abschlussveranstaltung. Die Aufgaben werden in den bereits gebildeten Kleingruppen (4 bis 5 Studierende) bearbeitet.
