This course explores the effective, ethical, and critical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic writing. Students will develop the language skills needed to use AI tools to support the writing process while maintaining academic integrity and independent thinking. Through practical tasks and discussions, participants will learn how to write effective prompts, evaluate AI-generated content, identify inaccuracies and bias, and revise texts to meet academic standards. The course also examines current debates surrounding AI in higher education, including issues of authorship, plagiarism, transparency, and responsible use. By the end of the course, students will be able to integrate AI into their academic writing workflow in a reflective, ethical, and academically appropriate manner.
