Diese Einführung soll zu einer ersten Orientierung über Bildungsökonomie und
bildungsökonomische Grundlagen der Bildungsplanung führen. Vorgestellt wird
Grundlagenliteratur, die zentrale Probleme der Bildungsökonomie von
unterschiedlichen theoretischen Positionen aus behandelt. Geschichte der
Bildungsökonomie; Bildung als ökonomisches Gut; Bildungskosten;
Bildungserträge (insbes. Bildung und Einkommensverteilung);
Cost-Benefit-Analyse von Bildungsinvestitionen (individuell und
gesellschaftlich, Bildung als Konsum- oder Investitionsgut; Bildung und
Wirtschaftswachstum; Bildungsfinanzierung; Bildungsnachfrage,
Bildungsverläufe und Qualifikationsneuangebot; Qualifikationsnachfrage und
Arbeitsmarkt; Bildung und Strukturwandel, Qualifikationsbedarf und
Qualifikationsstrukturentwicklung; Bildungs- und Beschäftigungssystem,
Bildungsproduktion (Mikroökonomie des Bildungswesens).
