230487 Kuratieren und Ausstellungspraxis (S) (WiSe 2026/2027)

In Ausstellungen werden durch Verfahren der Auswahl sowie der räumlichen Sichtbarmachung und Gegenüberstellung spezifische Formen materieller Produktion dargestellt, die denen der künstlerischen Praxis ähneln. Wir lernen unterschiedliche künstlerischen Positionen und kuratorische Konzepte kennen und diskutieren verschiedene Vermittlungsansätze, die wir z.T. praktisch erproben. Konkret an den Ausstellungen im Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster und im LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur Münster thematisieren wir aktuelle, gesellschaftliche Fragestellungen und setzen sie in Beziehung zu ihrer Bedeutung für die Kulturvermittlung. Vor Ort wird in die Konzeption der aktuellen Ausstellungen eingeführt und themenspezifische Aspekte diskutiert. Außerdem besteht die Chance, berufsperspektivische Aspekte der professionellen Kunstvermittlung zu erörtern.
