In this Study Group, we'll be addressing the topic of "inclusion": what does it mean, where is it today, what is it supposed to be, what are its limits, and what would an ideal "inclusion" scenario be like? In addition to working with media and literature on the topic, we will be inviting experts with and without disabilities to share their experiences and insights with us. We will also be meeting the "Lebenshilfe Gütersloh" at the Bethel Athletics Meeting, which is to be held at Bielefeld University in July.
While the SG will focus broadly on "inclusion" in the context of (English) teaching, and thus on school and its surroundings, it will also explore its wider implications, and is thus not necessarily restricted to students who are planning to become (English) teachers.

Die verbindlichen Modulbeschreibungen enthalten weitere Informationen, auch zu den "Leistungen" und ihren Anforderungen. Sind mehrere "Leistungsformen" möglich, entscheiden die jeweiligen Lehrenden darüber.
Since Study Groups are entirely student-led and student-powered, all participants can and should suggest topics and take charge of one or two sessions - researching the topics, providing input, giving presentations, designing activities, leading the discussions, etc.
