Thema: Diese Veranstaltung zeichnet ein Gesamtbild der Fächer Mathematik und Informatik, das die Einordnung der fachspezifischen Veranstaltungen in einen gemeinsamen Rahmen ermöglicht. Das erfolgt durch die Darstellung der geschichtlichen Entwicklung dieser beiden Gebiete, ihrer Vernetzung, der Methoden, der aktuellen Forschung und wichtiger Akteure im Lauf der Zeit.
Format: 4 Stunden Vorlesung + 2 Stunden Übung. Die Vorlesungen werden ausschließlich als Videoaufzeichung angeboten. Der Live-Termin Di 12-14 wird für Fragen, Vertiefung und Präsenzübungen genutzt.
Anrechnung: Bachelor-Studierende in manchen MINT-Fächern (Bio, Informatik, die ab dem Sommersemester 2011 eingeschrieben sind, können diese Veranstaltung als strukturierte Ergänzung oder alternativ als individuelle Ergänzung mit 10 LP anrechnen. Für alle anderen gilt diese Veranstaltung nur als individuelle Ergänzung. Genaueres auf der externen Kommentarseite.
