Die Exkursion findet vom 26.-30.9.2016 statt. Das Seminar zur Exkursion wird geblockt vor der Exkursion durchgeführt.
Die Veranstaltung ist ein 5-LP-Teil Teil des neuen Wahlbereichs "Organismische Biologie". Dieser kann alternativ zum Modul "Organismische Biologie" gewählt werden. Es müssen zwei Veranstaltungen zu je 5 LP belegt werden.

Die Veranstaltung dient zum Erwerb von Tier- und Pflanzenkenntnissen im Kontext mit Umweltbildung anhand eines Nationalparks. Dabei richtet sich die Veranstaltung vornehmlich an Bachelor-Studierende der Biologie, die ihr zukünftiges Berufsfeld in der Schule sehen. Es soll das systematische Einordnen von Organismen erlernt werden, ebenso wie kleine Analysen.
Die Präsenzzeit ist unterteilt in eine Übung inkl. Exkursion in einen Nationalpark und einen Seminarteil.
