Critical Whiteness lenkt den Blick von denjenigen, die Rassismus erfahren, auf diejenigen, die Rassismus ausüben; das Konzept ist als erweiterte Perspektive der kritischen Rassismusforschung zu verstehen. Zu Beginn des Seminars werden die theoretischen Grundlagen im Vordergrund stehen, welche durch intensive Textarbeit erarbeitet werden, um dann anschließend im Rahmen eines Workshops (Blocktermin) die praktische Umsetzung des Konzepts zu fokussieren. Ziel dieses einführenden Seminars ist es, einen theoretischen sowie praktischen Blick auf diese spezifische Perspektive zu erarbeiten, welcher eine kritische Reflektion der eigenen Position sowie eine fundierte(re) Analyse rassistischer Machtverhältnisse ermöglicht.
