230242 Research Projects in English as a Non-Native and Learner Language (BS) (SoSe 2016)

Contents, comment

The objectives of this seminar are twofold:

First, you will have the opportunity to practice or make first experiences in empirical research. These will be valuable for your BA theses, but also for your praxissemester in the M.Ed.

Second, we will discuss various aspects of English as a non-native and learner language. This area provides plenty of opportunity to investigate grammatical, phonetic, and phonological variation, (crosscultural) pragmatics, error correction (other and self), language attitude, etc.
