Ursachen einer Dyspnoe (Atemnot und Kurzatmigkeit) verstehen.

Differentialdiagnosen der akuten Atemnot aus notfallmedizinischer Sicht benennen und die notfallmedizinischen Therapieindikation stellen können.

Indikationen zum therapeutischen Einsatz von Inhalatoren und Verneblern erklären können.

Wissen zu Erkrankungen des respiratorischen Systems, insbesondere zu akuten Infektionen der unteren Atemwege (Pneumonien), zu diffusen Lungenparenchymerkrankungen (DLPE), insbesondere Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) und Lungenödem besitzen.

Die Prinzipien der interventionellen Behandlung von Ventilationsstörungen und respiratorischer Insuffizienz verstehen und die Grundlagen der (invasiven und non-invasiven) Beatmung erläutern können.



Die akute Atemnot gehört zu den bedrohlichsten Symptomen in der Notfallmedizin.

In der Vorlesung wird die Pathophysiologie der akuten respiratorischen Insuffizienz und insbesondere der Unterschied der hypoxämischen und der hyperkapnischen Form erläutert.

Effektive Therapiemaßnahmen der Notfallmedizin, insbesondere die Möglichkeiten der nicht-inasiven Beatmung werden dargestellt.''
