Das Seminar vermittelt einen Einblick in die Geschichte der Kinder- und Jugendliteratur (KJL) nach 1945 – schwerpunktmäßig in die der BRD und des vereinten Deutschland. Am Beispiel ausgewählter Texte werden Gattungsfragen aufgegriffen und literaturwissenschaftliche Analysen vorgenommen. Die Studierenden sollen hierbei ihre Kenntnisse und analytischen Fähigkeiten, die in der „Einführung in die germanistische Literaturwissenschaft vermittelt wurden, im Umgang mit kinderliterarischen Texten vertiefen. Weiterhin wird ein Einblick in ausgewählte Bilderbücher, Literaturverfilmungen und Computerspieladaptionen der KJL nach 1945 gegeben.
