Die Generation der jungen Frauen ist mit Versprechungen einer weitgehenden Gleichheit im Geschlechterverhältnis aufgewachsen und stellt daran auch selbst hohe Ansprüche. Dennoch reproduzieren sie auch im Leben junger Frauen die bekannten sozialen Ungleichheiten entlang der Geschlechtergrenzen. Im Seminar wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwiefern sich diese "ungleiche Gleichheit" (Oechsle/Geissler 1998) in unterschiedlichen Bereichen - etwa Lebensplanung, Berufsfindung, Lebensformen, politische Partizipation - manifestiert und wie sich junge Frauen lebensgeschichtlich im Spannungsfeld von Reproduktion und Transformation bestehender Geschlechterverhältnisse verorten.
