Das Seminar „Kindheit und Jugend im Nationalsozialismus“ führt Sie im Rahmen des Grundkurses „Historische Lebenswelten“ am Beispiel der Lebensbedingungen und Erfahrungen junger Menschen während der NS-Zeit an das historische Arbeiten heran. Es vermittelt grundlegende geschichtswissenschaftliche Methoden, insbesondere im Bereich der Quellenkritik und -interpretation. Anhand von Fachliteratur und historischen Quellen lernen Sie, gesellschaftliche und politische Entwicklungen dieser Epoche kritisch zu analysieren und deren Relevanz für die Gegenwart zu erkennen. Praktische Übungen vermitteln zusätzlich, wie historische Inhalte anschaulich für einen inklusiven und intersektionalen Sachunterricht aufbereitet werden können.
Ergänzt wird das Seminar um zwei obligatorische Exkursionen: Zum einen besuchen Sie das Stadtarchiv Bielefeld und erhalten hier eine Einführung in die Archivarbeit. Zum anderen machen Sie in der Erinnerungs- und Gedenkstätte Wewelsburg eine Fortbildung für Lehrkräfte.
