Ziel der Vorlesung ist es, die Grundstrukturen des AGB-Rechts zu vermitteln. Doch daneben soll auch die neue Rechtsprechung erörtert werden, und vor allem auch die Besonderheiten der richterlichen Inhaltskontrolle von AGB im unternehmerischen Bereich. Dies schließt dann notwendigerweise auch ein, dass die Vertragstypen des Besonderen Schuldrechts, soweit geboten, erschlossen werden, um das Verständnis des AGB-Rechts als eines Instruments der Beschränkung der Vertragsgestaltungsfreiheit zu fördern.
