Im Seminar werden wir uns mit dem nicht-klassischen Gebrauch des lateinischen Verbs „habere“ in spätlateinischen Texten beschäftigen. Das Vollverb „habere“ übernahm zunehmend die Funktionen eines Auxiliars, woraus sich schließlich das romanische Perfekt und das romanische Futur entwickelten. Außerdem sind vielfach weitere nicht-klassische Verwendungen belegt.
Es werden ausgewählte Korpora zur Verfügung gestellt, in denen Beispielsätze identifiziert und anschließend untersucht werden sollen. Grundlegende Lateinkenntnisse werden vorausgesetzt.
