Im Mittelpunkt der Vorlesung stehen didaktische und methodische Fragen der Vermittlung von Sport in ausgewählten Settings. Hierbei werden grundlegende Aspekte der Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung von Sportunterricht ebenso behandelt wie die Vermittlung ausgewählter fachspezifischer und fachübergreifender Kompetenzen.
Die in der Vorlesung verwendeten Folien werden als Materialien im StudIP veröffentlicht und sollten vor der jeweiligen Vorlesung gelesen werden.
Für Studierende der Studiengänge bis WS 2011/12 ist die Veranstaltung für die Vorlesung "Didaktik und Methodik des Schulsports" anrechenbar.
