Thema, Einführung, Überblick
Für die Entstehung und die Theologie des Alten Testaments sind die Propheten von entscheidender Bedeutung. Sie lieferten vom 8. Jh. v. Chr. an die Deutungsmodelle zum Verständnis der historischen Ereignisse und zu ihrer Bewältigung und stellten so die literarisch-theologische „Initialzündung“ für das Alte Testament als Textsammlung dar.
Im Seminar sollen einige der zentralen Prophetengestalten aus dem Alten Testament näher betrachtet und als „berufene Rufer“ in ihrem jeweiligen zeitgeschichtlichen Kontext beleuchtet werden, unter ihnen beispielsweise Elia, Amos, Jesaja, Jeremia und Daniel.Lehr- bzw. Lernziele
Ziel des Seminars ist es, den Teilnehmenden einen religions- und theologiegeschichtlichen Überblick über die Entwicklung der alttestamentlichen Prophetie zu vermitteln und sie mit den zentralen prophetischen Schriften im Alten Testament vertraut zu machen.Arbeitsweise
Neben informativen Phasen mit Vorlesungscharakter wird die gemeinsame Arbeit an den biblischen Texten im Vordergrund stehen.
