Die Beratung und Begleitung von Eltern nimmt im schulischen Kontext vor dem Hintergrund eines staatlichen Auftrags zur "Erziehungspartnerschaft“ von Professionellen und Eltern eine Schlüsselrolle ein. In der Regel treten hierbei jedoch auch Konflikte und Hierarchien auf.
Unter dieser Perspektive erfolgt im Seminar einerseits eine Auseinandersetzung mit grundlegenden Theorien und empirischen Ergebnissen zur Zusammenarbeit mit Eltern, Familien und Fürsorgeberechtigten. Zum anderen werden konkrete Beratungsansätze und Methoden zum beratenden Handeln vorgestellt, diskutiert und erprobt. Einen besonderen inhaltlichen Schwerpunkt bildet hierbei der personzentrierte Ansatz, der entlang der Begriffe Empathie, Wertschätzung und Kongruenz zur Orientirung beraterischen Handelns dienen kann.
Das Seminar zielt darauf ab, die angehenden Lehrer*innen und Pädagog*innen in der angemessenen und verantwortlichen Gestaltung von Hilfe- und Beratungspraktiken in pädagogischen Kontexten zu unterstützen.
In der Veranstaltung wird konkretes Beratungshandeln mit digitalen Medien (KI, 306Grad Videos, Avataren etc.) erprobt.
