Die Veranstaltung setzt das Seminar aus dem Wintersemester fort. Während im Wintersemester die zugrundeliegende Quelle, ein Geschäftsbuch aus den 1630er Jahren transkribiert und in den historischen Kontext eingeordnet wurde, wird es in diesem Semester darum gehen, das Geschäftsbuch in die Neukonzipierung der Dauerausstellung des Deutschen Werkzeugmuseums in Remscheid einzugliedern. Im Seminar sollen Texte erarbeiet werden, in denen das Geschäftsbuch für die Museumsbesucher erläutert und ein Bild über ökonomische Praktiken vermittelt wird. Zum Seminar gehört eine Tagesexkursion an das Werkzeugmuseum in Remscheid (am Samstag, 9. Mai). Erwartet wird kontinuierliche Mitarbeit, ggf. auch über das Semesterende hinaus, so dass im Herbst mit der technischen Umsetzung der Ausstellungselemente in Remscheid begonnen werden kann.
Auch diese Lehrveranstaltung wird gemeinsam mit einer Seminargruppe an der Universität Wuppertal unter der Leitung von Frau Prof. Dr. Anne-Sophie Overkamp durchgeführt. Die erste Sitzung am 16.4. wird gemeinsam mit beiden Gruppen online per Zoom durchgeführt:
