This class prepares you to research h at school during your practical term. We will discuss all the elements that you would need to do a study project about ELT at secondary schools (GymGe/HRSGe), if you choose to do so. This includes formulating a research question, choosing a method and instrument, and finding related literature. We will have the opportunity to try out some first hand research-experience by interviewing grade 8 students from the Laborschule about their linguistic and cultural learning experience during an exchange to the Czech Republic.

This seminar (or one of the other two VPS classes) needs to be completed before the practical term. It is followed by the BPS during your practical term that ends with the RPS after your practical term.
