311523 CUDE Cluster Group A: Reading Group on Individual and Strategic Behavior under Uncertainty in Dynamic Environments (S) (SoSe 2026)

In this reading group, we explore how modern economic theory models decision-making under uncertainty in dynamic environments. The sessions focus on foundational and contemporary approaches to coping with uncertainty — from rational expectations and Bayesian learning to robust control, ambiguity aversion, and model misspecification. The aim is to build a deeper understanding of how uncertainty shapes behavior, policy, and equilibrium outcomes in dynamic economic settings. Participants engage with both theoretical and quantitative frameworks through guided readings and discussion of recent research papers.
