In Anlehnung an den Lehrplan/die Bildungsstandards erhalten Sie in der Veranstaltung zunächst einen Überblick über die Inhalte und Ziele des Bereichs Größen und Messen in der Grundschule. Neben der mathematischen Struktur einzelner Größenbereiche und der Erarbeitung von Stützpunktvorstellungen wird insbesondere die Entwicklung des Größenverständnisses unter Einbeziehung individueller Vorkenntnisse thematisiert. In Sachkontexten spielen Modellierungs- und Anwendungsaufgaben eine zentrale Rolle. So ist auch die Erschließung fächerübergreifender Inhalte und die Durchführung von Projekten eine wichtige Aufgabe dieses Inhaltbereichs.
Thematisiert werden immer auch die individuellen Denk- und Lernwege von Grundschulkindern sowie zentrale Probleme und Schwierigkeiten bei der Organisation von Lernprozessen.
