Das Seminar orientiert sich zum einen an den beratungswissenschaftlichen Grundprinzipien und historischen Entwicklungslinien für eine geschlechtersensible Beratung. Bedeutsam sind die Entwicklungen von der feministischen Beratung zur Beratung im Kontext von Habitus und Geschlecht als soziale Konstruktion/Institution. Da geschlechtersensible Beratung sich als emanzipatorischer Ansatz versteht, werden Beratungsfelder und -formate von Männerberatung, Beratung im Kontext Familie, Beruf und Gewalt einbezogen.
