Die Nacht als Phänomen in der Kunst und in der Musik steht im Fokus dieses Seminars. Künstlerische und musikalische Annäherungen an die Nacht werden exemplarisch vorgestellt: durch die Jahrhundert haben Kunst- und Musikschaffende verschiedenste Strategien gewählt, um den Charakter der Nacht zu erfassen und wiederzugeben.
In der Veranstaltung werden einige der dabei entstandenen Werke untersucht.
Eigene praktische Annäherungen an die Nacht sind ebenso Bestandteil dieser Basiswerkstatt - künstlerisch wie musikalisch.
