Die selbstgesteuerte Weiterentwicklung beruflicher Kompetenzen erfordert eine Reihe von strategischen Fertigkeiten. Dazu gehören insbesondere das Wissensmanagement (z.B. mit Hilfe von Mapping-Techniken) und verschiedene Lernstrategien (z.B. Organisation). Das Seminar führt in die Theorie des Wissensmanagement ein und behandelt zentrale empirische Studien. Der praktische Teil des Seminars beinhaltet die Literaturrecherche als Anwendungsbeispiel für Wissensmanagement. Die Teilnehmer haben hier Gelegenheit, ihr theoretisches Wissen in einer konkreten Literaturrecherche mit anschließender Aufarbeitung der Literatur zu erproben.
