250395 Geschlechterrollen und Behinderung (S) (SoSe 2015)

Geschlecht als soziale Kategorie ist von zentraler Bedeutung, wenn es um individuelle und
gesellschaftliche Lebensbedingungen sowie um die Gestaltung sozialer Beziehungen geht. Wie
sehen entsprechende Bedingungen jedoch aus, wenn die Kategorien „Beeinträchtigungen“ und
„Behinderungen“ mit ins Spiel kommen und wie sehen davon betroffene Menschen ihre eigene
Situation? Derartige Fragen - bezogen auf unterschiedliche Lebenszusammenhänge - werden in
dem Seminar thematisiert. Dabei wird besonders die Sicht von Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen
berücksichtigt.
