Die PÜ vertieft die Inhalte der Vorlesung. Einerseits werden ein paar tiefergehende Untersuchungen aus der Vorlesung ausgelagert. Andererseits dient die Übung dazu, die Theorien
aus der Vorlesung anhand von echten Datensätzen auch anzuwenden.
Dadurch erarbeiten sich die Studierenden die Kompetenzen, die statistischen und ökonometrischen Methoden auch in der Praxis anzuwenden sowie deren Ergebnisse trittsicher zu interpretieren.Die Übung ist somit eine wertvolle Vorbereitung auf eine empirische Bachelorarbeit.
