This class is suitable for those who want to try creative writing in English for the first time, or who have already been writing for a while and are looking for an opportunity to write every week. As a unifying theme this semester, we will focus on childhood and children, writing for, about, and in the voice of youngsters. We will explore various approaches to writing and focus on particular aspects of writing (mainly) prose fiction.
No placement test is required for this course. However, a minimum level of B2 is suggested.
Short readings will be provided in class.

For credit in this class, please attend regularly and be prepared to WRITE - a lot - in class. You should also participate in discussions, brainstorming, feedback on how you approached the writing tasks and be prepared to share your writing from time to time.
You will be required to submit a portfolio of at least TEN pieces of writing, consisting of your first draft and an edited, reworked polished version. Please note that FSZ seminars only run for 13 weeks. The course ends on 20th January.
