230335 LiLi revisited: Digitale Schnittstellenforschung zwischen Literaturwissenschaft und Linguistik (Ko) (WiSe 2025/2026)

Contents, comment

The research colloquium is a forum for the discussion of current approaches and new findings in data-driven literary and cultural studies, addressing the form and function of textual phenomena in literary socio-historical contexts.
We complement the history of ideas, social-historical, and philological perspectives by methods and theories from Computational Literary Studies (CLS) and Cultural Analytics (CA). These approaches of digital humanities and empirical literary studies form interdisciplinary interfaces between literary studies, (computer) linguistics, psychology and the social sciences. In addition to joint readings and the discussion of individual guest lectures, ongoing projects will be presented and new ideas tested.
The colloquium is aimed at all interested participants. MA and BA students (including Literary Studies, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Media Studies) are very welcome. Please note: BA students cannot obtain credit points for this seminar. Course languages are German and English.
