In diesem Seminar behandeln wir verschiedene Typen des nicht Gesagten (Präsuppositionen, Implikaturen; sogenannte projektive oder Non-at-Issue-Bedeutung). Wir lesen theoretische und experimentelle Literatur zum Thema. Des Weiteren beschäftigen wir uns mit der Frage, wie diese Bedeutungen im Diskurs (im Gespräch, in Politik, in der Werbung) eingesetzt werden; manchmal mit der Absicht, Falsches zu suggerieren.
