In dieser Veranstaltung wird als ein zentraler Aspekt des Mathematikunterrichts die "Sprache" betrachtet. Nicht ausreichende Sprachkenntnisse verhindern oft mathematische Lernerfolge von Schülerinnen und Schülern mit Migrationshintergrund oder aus bildungsfernen Elternhäusern, obwohl diese Schülerinnen und Schüler über die notwendigen mathematischen Grundvorstellungen verfügen und mathematische Algorithmen beherrschen.
Inhalte:
Zur Bedeutung der Sprache im Mathematikunterricht
Mündlicher Ausdruck im Mathematikunterricht
Textproduktion im Mathematikunterricht
Nach einer theoretischen Einführung wird von den Teilnehmern erwartet Vorschläge zur Verbesserung sprachlicher Kompetenzen an konkreten mathematischen Inhalten zu entwickeln und im Seminar vorzustellen. Der Möglichkeiten des unterrichtlichen Eisatzes werden kritisch reflektiert.
