Die Biographieforschung befasst sich mit dem Leben der Gesprächspartner*innen. Der biographische Ansatz ermöglicht es, in unserer individualisierten Gesellschaft soziale Dynamiken auf individueller Ebene zu erfassen. Wie wirken sich soziale Phänomene auf Menschen aus? Wie tragen Menschen zur Entstehung sozialer Phänomene und zum Strukturwechsel bei?
Die Methode des biographischen Interviews gewährt Zugang zu subjektivem Material: Wie erzählt man von seinem eigenen Werdegang? Eine biographische Erzählung ist situiert und wird a posteriori durch die Reflexivität der interviewten Person konstruiert. Wir werden die Begriffe von Erzählung, Wahrheit und Reflexivität besprechen.
In diesem Seminar werden wir uns mit methodologischer Literatur und biographischen Studien befassen. Anschließend werden Sie Ihre eigenen empirischen Projekte konzipieren und durchführen.
